ARIA BISTRO & WINE BAR   

SETTING: situated in Singapore’s Esplanade’s artistic centre, Aria exudes a mélange of modern retro-ambience with the presence of mirrors, hanging chain-links and interesting artwork.

FOOD: French fare is the forte of this 40-seat restaurant.Aria bistros & wine Bar’s traditional French onion soup accompanied by Provencal. Tartine with Parma ham is a proverbial delight for the palate. 

Signature dishes include Duck Confit and Wagyu Beef Cheek. Braised for four  hours, the beef with red wine glaze and olive oil mousseline, is cery tender with the juices delectably intact. 

Sea Bream pan-fried with Rosemary, served with light vegetable butter sauce and sautéed langoustine, is recommended for its freshness, fine texture and subtle flavor. Aria’s le Grand dessert for two is artistically presented and features bread-and-butter pudding, flourless tiramisu, chilled passion fruit soup and chocolate fondant. The three-course set lunch costs a mere $ 28 per person.

WINE: Highlighting French labels, the wine list is presented by regions, thus making informed choices simpler. In addition, house wines from other geographical locations are good choices.
